Prosjektbeskrivelse:

We need an Analytics Engineer consultant that can backfill the maintenance and minor development requirements on the legacy platform while the other team developers are starting to focus on the new platform in Azure.

In the role you will be working with monitoring daily data refresh jobs and manage incidents that are reported by stakeholders in Jira or found by the team.

You will also support the business users that have questions and ad hoc data extracts that sometime have short deadlines.

We are working in an agile process with 2-week sprints that are planned with development items split into tickets. Sometimes urgent requests need to be handled within the sprint but that we try to avoid.

The development work includes working in the database with SQL correcting bugs and doing development in the data warehouse. Maintaining, bug fixing and development of Power BI- and SSAS models will also be required.

The team contains 6 analytics engineers, 5 in Norway and 1 in Stockholm.

This role requires technical experience in the SQL Server platform, including database engine, Integration Services and Analysis Services. It will also include a lot of interaction with the business users to understand the requirements.
