Product Manager for Digital Products and Services

Areas of responsibility

• Follow up and further develop assigned digital products and services based on customer needs and business objectives.

• Ensure that product needs and improvement opportunities are identified, assessed and defined.

• Contribute to ensuring that product development is prioritised and carried out within agreed strategic, financial and organisational frameworks.

• Follow up product areas throughout their entire lifecycle, from insight and needs through to development, launch and continued improvement.

• Contribute to ensuring that customer needs are clearly communicated to Standard Digital and any other suppliers.

Primary responsibilities

• Gather and consolidate insight from customers, support, sales, user behaviour and other relevant sources.

• Identify customer problems, needs and opportunities for improvement of products and services.

• Develop and maintain the roadmap and backlog for assigned product areas.

• Describe needs and development tasks, including problem statements, requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with UX and other specialist resources on research, solution design, user testing and validation.

• Collaborate with suppliers on planning, estimation, development, testing and deliveries.

• Follow up development tasks from commissioning through to launch and contribute to quality assurance and internal communication.

• Monitor usage, impact and quality, and propose improvement measures based on insight and results.

• Contribute to sound product management and the follow-up of defects and improvement needs.

Other responsibilities

• Contribute product expertise to decisions, prioritisations, business cases and planning.

• Participate in and contribute to the forums and groups delegated by the department manager.

• Contribute to ensuring that the department's overall tasks and responsibilities are handled in the best possible way.

• Carry out other tasks as required.
