Senior Python Developer / Databricks Engineer – Immediate Start

“We’re looking for a skilled Python Developer with Databricks expertise to join our team and take part in a high-impact project focused on transforming a working prototype into a production-grade solution. The main task will be to refactor and reimplement the solution in a robust, scalable way using Databricks and best coding practices.

This role involves a high level of ownership and active contribution to defining technical scope and design.”

Key responsibilities:

  • Refactor and rewrite an existing Python prototype for production use
  • Implement the solution within the Databricks environment
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and stakeholders to understand logic and improve performance
  • Define and structure development tasks and deliverables

Required skills:

  • Strong Python development experience
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and Spark
  • Good understanding of software engineering principles and clean code practices
  • Ability to work independently and define work scope in an evolving project

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Databricks CI/CD and infrastructure automation tools
  • Understanding Medalion architecture, ELT and other data-processing patterns.

End: 31 Dec 2025 (with high likelihood of extension)
Location: Oslo west (possibility of working remotely 2 days per week)
