Introduction

The client is seeking experienced mainframe developers to support day to day development and operations together with analyzing the possibilities for modernization initiative. The resources will work on various modules, as well as enabling services as APIs. The modernization effort can involve transitioning legacy systems to a modern technology stack.

 

Scope of Work

·         Participate in development for Clients modules

·         Modernize mainframe applications from COBOL/Telon/DB2

·         Enable APIs for integration with E2000 and external systems.

Technical Skills:

·         COBOL

·         Telon

·         DB2 and SQL

·         JCL and batch processing

·         Endevor (source control)

·         Stored Procedures

Preferred Experience:

·         Migration and modernization of mainframe systems to distributed platforms.

·         API development and service enablement.

Soft Skills:

·         Structured, detail-oriented, and collaborative.

·         Ability to follow established standards.

Engagement Details

·         Location: Oslo (on-site / hybrid))

·         Duration: 12 months (with possible extension)

·         Allocation: Full-time (100%)

·         Equipment: Developer laptop provided

·         Code development and maintenance for clients modules.

·         API enablement for module integration.

·         Documentation and knowledge transfer.
